#LiveLikeJonny
Jonathan Cole Koch (Jonny) was born on December 1st, 1999 in Ord, NE to Bruce and Kim Koch. Jonny is a brother to Kayla Kelley, Austin, Kaleigh and Brett Koch. Brother in- law to Jacob Kelley and Tiana Koch. Uncle to Crew and Kole Kelley and Rigby J.C. Koch. Grandson, Nephew and cousin to many. Jonny absolutely adored and loved his family with all his heart, never missing a family gathering. Our parent’s love was Jonny’s favorite love story, one week before his accident he got a tattoo that he created with our parents’ anniversary date.
Jonny had a radiant smile that lit up a room, infectious laugh, bright calming eyes, listening ears that never judged, he was full of life. Jonny was always best dressed and had an eye for fashion and creativity. Jonny loved hard and cared deeply, he fought for what he felt was right and always extended a hand to many. Jonny would give you his last penny to make sure you had what you needed, even if that meant he would go without. Jonny looked forward to the moment he spent time with our father watching fox news, drinking coffee while discussing politics and hunting. Jonny’s heart belonged to the Nebraska Husker’s Volleyball team and was also a huge fan of Husker football. Jonny enjoyed traveling and donating to many charities. He hated losing while playing games, he somehow always called house rules as it was never Jonny’s actual home. Jonny had a creative side and art was a huge way that he expressed himself, he loved collecting Knick knacks and antiques, he had a voice of an angel, he loved competing in speech and cross country meets. Jonny loved a good sale and most times couldn't contain himself when he stumbled upon one. Jonny had many friends who meant the world to him, his friends were his second family. He knew no stranger.
We have created this page to honor Jonny and his legacy. Throughout this last year we have found that the pictures, videos and memories that we have and that have been shared with us has helped our family during this horrible grieving process. We wanted you to be able to share your memories of him and enjoy some of our memories of Jonny and our family. We had the perfect quirky family. Our family wasn't perfect but it was perfect to us. Losing Jonny has been so hard for our family but we refuse to not have him remembered as he is and will always be our piece of puzzle that completes us. We want to keep his sprit alive within all of us. He touched so many people in his short life, he lived life to the fullest and accomplished so much. Remember to be kind, love with your whole heart and step out of your comfort zone to achieve the dreams you dream of. #LiveLikeJonny.
