The worst day of our lives!

October 1st, 2022, Jonny and some friends went down to the Railyard in Lincoln, NE to enjoy a night out with friends. Around 10:30 PM that night Brett and Cassie met up with them, all of them walked to a bar downtown to meet up with others. On October 2nd, 2022 at 2:01 AM Jonny placed a call to one of his roommates, at 2:06 AM Jonny and a friend were picked up on the side of the street in downtown Lincoln at approximately 2:12 AM Jonny gained his Angel wings.

 That night a drunk driver made the decision to get behind the wheel without informing those in the vehicle that he was intoxicated, he also decided to drive recklessly and at a fast rate of speed, ultimately crashing head-on with a tree, just past the intersection of 56th and Randolph, The accident happened just down the street from 3 of the occupant’s home. From the hours of 5 AM-11 AM, 6 families would receive the worst news of their lives. What was supposed to be a fun night out turned into a tragic nightmare for many.
